We are pleased to announce that South Tipp
BKA is running a beekeeping course for beginners.
Avail of this opportunity to learn the
basic skills of managing bees for the production of honey
Participants will avail of: - Full membership of Beekeepers Association and Insurance
- Twelve classes, 6 theory and 6 practical outdoor demonstrations

- Beekeeping Equipment
- The Biology of the bee
- Managing your bees
- Harvesting the crop
- Making your own hive

Intermediate Scientific study
group are underway after the Christmas break, 18th Jan &
every second Monday thereafter, Venue: Cahir band room. All are welcome.
Beginner,
Intermediate and Senior Study groups are held in Cahir band room every
second Monday night throughout the winter. These classes prepare
candidates for exams held in May & July. We welcome all to this
group, including neighbouring association members. Intermediate Scientific Classes 2009 begin on 12th Oct 8pm in Cahir band room. For more information, please contact:
