The Clonmel Honey Show

The Honey Show will take place between the 23rd and 24th of September.

Clonmel or Cluain Meala meaning “meadow of honey”

The Clonmel Honey Show is run each year at the end of September by the South Tipperary Beekeepers Association. It is a competition where beekeepers from all over Ireland exhibit their product, from the novice beekeeper to the experienced. It offers a wide range of classes covering various topics such as honey in all its forms, wax and wax products, mead and wine, cakes and photography, 40 categories in total. All entries are welcome, it is a wonderful opportunity to hone your techniques, network with fellow beekeepers and for the simple joy of taking part.

Entrants display their products on the Saturday morning for judging in the afternoon, details in Schedule & Regulations. The show is open to the public on the Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm. It is held in the Central Technical College (Eircode: E91K2E2) with parking to the rear. All are welcome.

Honey from the Association’s apiary will be on sale on the Sunday along with entrant’s honey and baking items

In September of each year we will publish the Honey Show Schedule and Regulations along with an Entry Form which will show as links below here.
